A fisherman distinguished as Mr. Duobo, got an immense Hippopotamus in Aku-gbene angling camp, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, on Wednesday.
As indicated by the man, the ocean animal has been upsetting homesteads in the camp for some time now. He depicted April 29, 2020, as his most fortunate day since he began angling in the camp, as it was the day the Hippopotamus was at long last gotten by him.
Duobo said all other fishermen in the camp have set various types of snares for the ocean creature yet each endeavor consistently fizzled.
He said he had designed a snare for the Hippopotamus with ropes and bamboo sticks three days prior and had been observing it. He was cheerful when he understood it had gotten the creature.
He expressed gratitude toward his Hausa companion Mohammed, a colleague living at Polaku people group, Yenagoa, for helping him accomplish the accomplishment.
